About D.J. StudiosOriginally established in 1988, D.J. Studios, under the guidance of Master Josefik, has become the areas most successful and prestigious martial arts school. In just under 20 years, D.J. Studios has produced 3 Masters, over 70 Black Belts, 5 Regional Grand Champions, and countless other tournament Grand Champions. To date, we are the only school in the area that owns, runs, and maintains our own facility, and offers classes that are split up not only by age, but by rank as well. Under the philosophy that learning should be fun, and done at each individuals own pace, Master Josefik continues to to not just make excellent black belts... but to develop excellent citizens and human beings.

In The NewsNew Clearfield Facility Now Open Our new facility in Clearfield is now open for business. Clearfield students should no longer report to the YMCA for classes. The new location is at 212 Hammermill Road. If you are coming in on 322, once you pass the Long John Silvers, you will take the right directly before Fox's Pizza. Also, special congratulations to Mr. Steve Forsburg, who received his Black Belt. Community Outreach Event D.J. Studios Karate of Philipsburg and Clearfield sponsored a community event April 2 that included two seminars, one about stranger danger and one about anti-bullying. The stranger danger program made students and parents aware of tactics used by predators in order to help prevent child abduction and kidnappings. State police were present to do the fingerprinting and identification program for students. The anti-bullying program was geared toward making students and parents aware of what bullying is, who is affected by it, how they are affected, and what to do if one encounters a bully. Master David Josefik and several of his black belt instructors were present at the event. |
